Moray & Agnew promotes 25, including six Partners in July 2025 promotion round

5 June 2025

Moray & Agnew has announced the promotion of 25 senior lawyers across the firm, effective 1 July 2025. This includes six Partners, five Special Counsel, 11 Senior Associates and three Associates across offices in Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth and Sydney.

These promotions reflect the firm’s continued growth and commitment to developing talent across key strategic areas in line with client demand.

Moray & Agnew’s new partners are:

She has specialist expertise in catastrophic personal injury matters involving complex liability and quantum issues.
  • Amanda Danti – Amanda has practical experience managing insurance claims in both Western Australia and the ACT. She has advised insurers on a wide range of matters involving Commonwealth and State workers’ compensation, public liability and industrial diseases. Her current focus is advising the Commonwealth and various self-insured entities on workers’ compensation claims under the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1988 (Cth).
  • Emma Petrie – Emma has extensive experience in insurance litigation, with a particular focus on personal injury, public liability and professional indemnity claims across Australia. She has been with the firm since prior to her admission in 2013 and is a trusted adviser to a number of national insurers.
  • Shaun Jackson – Shaun’s insurance expertise spans health law, public and property liability, workplace accidents and class actions. He has acted in complex dependency claims under the Compensation to Relatives Act 1897 (NSW) and represents public liability and professional indemnity insurers in claims involving industrial, construction, residential, recreational and commercial property matters. He also advises medical professionals in civil proceedings arising from a wide range of clinical scenarios.
  • Erin Woodward – Erin is a highly regarded senior lawyer on the Mid North Coast and Hunter region of NSW. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in personal injury law, having worked exclusively in this area. Her practice covers motor accident claims, workers compensation, public liability and medical negligence. Erin has appeared before all relevant NSW and national courts and tribunals.
  • Julie Ngan – Julie has significant experience in property, corporate, commercial, revenue, and finance and security law. With a background in accounting, she brings a commercial lens to complex matters involving capital raisings, business restructures, mergers and acquisitions, and financing transactions across a range of industries.
