Macpherson Kelley is delighted to introduce two new Principal Lawyers Suzy Cairney and John Kehoe, who will be joining our Construction, Infrastructure and Energy practice from the Brisbane and Melbourne offices, respectively.
Suzy Cairney is practiced across public and private civil infrastructure, energy, sustainability projects, and ports. Her experience across a number of high-profile and complex projects will be a tremendous asset to the firm’s Brisbane operations.
John Kehoe, joining the Melbourne office, is a highly experienced construction and major projects lawyer who has worked across multiple jurisdictions and in some of Australia’s largest firms. John specialises in infrastructure projects, building developments, and renewable energy. He has taken the lead on major renewable energy projects, offering critical legal support on engineering, procurement, and construction agreements.
Both Suzy and John start at Macpherson Kelley this month. Their arrival marks the firm’s commitment to attracting top-tier talent and strengthening its national Construction, Infrastructure and Energy practice.
National Managing Principal Lawyer Grant Guenther commented, “The depth and quality of experience that Suzy and John bring to our Construction, Infrastructure and Energy practice is a great addition to the firm and will help us best support our clients. The addition of John and Suzy is a significant expansion of our geographical and technical capability in projects, in infrastructure and particularly in energy and renewables. These are all very important sectors for our clients and the broader Australian economy over the years to come and we are excited to strengthen our position in those emerging markets. We couldn’t be happier to have them on board.”
