Ashurst Australia has been recognised for its outstanding achievement in supporting the advancement of women by being honoured with the Country Award at the Euromoney Asia Women in Business Law Awards 2017, held in Hong Kong on 9 November.
The awards celebrate firms in the Asia Pacific region who promote the advancement of women in the legal profession and recognises lawyers who are leading and influential professionals in their chosen field.
Regional head, Australia Phil Breden commented: “This award reflects the firm’s continued commitment to advancing diversity and inclusion for women within our firm and the wider legal profession. The awards were announced at the JW Marriott in Hong Kong with the Liberty Asia head of legal department, Archana Kotecha providing the keynote speech.
